Data Processing

This page describes how AIOGEO Expert processes data on behalf of clients when delivering AI visibility, GEO, AEO, content, entity and citation optimization services.

1. Roles

For personal data submitted directly to us through this Site (such as contact and audit request forms), AIOGEO Expert acts as the data controller. For client data processed while delivering contracted Services (such as analytics access or CMS credentials), AIOGEO Expert acts as a data processor on the client's behalf, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Categories of Data Processed

  • Website analytics and performance data
  • Content, copy and structured data provided by or created for the client
  • Search and AI-engine query results relevant to the client's brand and competitors
  • Contact details of client personnel involved in the engagement

3. Purpose of Processing

Data is processed solely to deliver, measure and improve the contracted Services, including audits, content optimization, monitoring, and reporting.

4. Sub-processors

We may engage third-party tools and sub-processors (such as hosting, analytics, form-handling and email providers) to support delivery of the Services. We take reasonable steps to ensure sub-processors provide an adequate level of data protection.

5. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect client data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Client data is retained only as long as necessary to deliver the Services or as required by law, and will be deleted or returned upon request following the end of an engagement, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. International Processing

Data may be processed in countries other than the client's own. Where required, we take steps to ensure such processing complies with applicable data protection laws.

8. Data Processing Agreements

Clients requiring a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may request one by contacting us; a signed DPA will govern in the event of any conflict with this page.
